vacation sites
Good short vacation sites in illinois area?
I am going on vacation in a few days. We will be towing a 40 foot RV. we want to go somewhere within a 3 or four hour drive. The place has to, obviously, have an RV park, as well as offer some great fishing, for mainly bass and sport fish.
please be as detailed as possible, and if you have any personal experiences with the place, please tell me. it doesn’t have to be in illinois. just that general area. thank you so much.
i don’t want six flags or the dells cuz we’ve been there 5 and 9 times, respectively.

Go visit the Fox River area. Visit Starved Rock State Park. It is beautiful there with several parks. Visit the small store in Norway, Illinois. Have you considered Door County in Wisconsin? Here is info on Starved Rock:
