How will my children benefit educationally from a vacation in Florida?
I have the concept, just not the right words. We are driving from PA to FL. So going through the states can be educational. Kennedy Space Center is easy. But the beach, Epcot, and Hollywood studios? I don’t want hard technical terms as my children are in elementary school. I need to fill out a request form for the school.
THe beach would involve endangered species like turtles and their nests. It is turtle nesting time on the beaches in Central Florida.
Also the use of sand dunes, what they are for and why they are protected in Florida. How about littering and the garbage that is washed up on the beaches from people throwing garbage into the ocean . EPCOT has not only the worlds pavilions but also the first part that includes the Land ,The Seas,and Imagination. pavilions these are great for learning experiences.Hollywood studios is a behind scenes look at movie making.Have a great time and you will learn something also.
