Hawaiian vacation help?

Towards the end of july, my fiance and I will be taking a 3 or 4 day vacation to Honolulu, Hawaii.
I’m 17 and he’s 19. Will they let me get 1 hotel room for the both of us even though I’m 17? I’m ordering a flight and hotel package from expedia.com, so does my age even matter when I get there? He’s in another state right now so he’s ordering his ticket separately. If he does so, then if i do the package for one person can I just tell the hotel to add another person to the same room when I get there?
My dad is the one paying for the trip. He will be making me an authorized user of his credit card, if that helps the situation. I was planning on calling ahead too, but we haven’t chosen the hotel we want yet. Thanks.

Just be advised that most all hotels will require a credit card upon arrival or they may charge an extra fee ($100 or so) deposit if you don’t have a credit card at all. Be sure to call the hotel or go to their website to check for fees and such so that you don’t get surprised because of this. Also, you have to be 18 years of age to book a hotel room on your own and since you are under that, the hotel may not uphold the reservation and will need a parents permission to ok you to be there. Check with the hotel and their guidelines to make sure though. Also, he is of legal age and you are not. This may become sticky with the hotel as well. Get all the details before you book anything. This will save you time and hassles because if you make a reservation online with expedia and such, you may not get all of your money back and they will charge extra fees to change or cancel. I used to work for a travel agency and one of my friends there, her sister and niece did this and one of them could not go so they canceled and lost most of their money and would have been charged $1000 each to reschedule.
