The story is about the daily life(s) of a ordinary bunch of kids during summer vacation, and the ups and down that go with them. It would be a comedy set in a small city in the midwest (Tulsa, Wichita, Omaha, Irving)
Cast: (order by importance)
Jamaal – A funny sponanious guy with a unsussesful nack for the ladies
Tia – dauther of a japanese model, who never seems to run out of money
Sakura – A preppy blonde who isn’t the brightest bulb in the box
Alex – A kind puerto rican girl with a mild temper.
Freddy – Alex’s brother lets his actions (and his sound effects) speak louder than his words)
Mycheal – Somewhat Jamaal’s sidekick who has funny sarcasm.
Dee-Ray – Jamaal’s older cousin who is kind of a bully.
Katrina – A punk rock chick who can’t stand Jamaal’s nonsense
Lori – Sakura’s arch rival who complains when thing don’t go her way.
Lee – Sakura’s boyfriend

That’s good because you’ve got a range of different characters. You could include adults who give the kids a hard time e.g. try to make them get part time jobs etc.
Great names and character descriptions. It’s appeal to a lot of teens in particular, i think.
