vacation message example
what does this mean? >:~)?
My boss (who is based in a different country) sometimes adds this set of characters to the end of his email sentences. For example, he sent me a message asking if I needed his help for anything. I replied that I was on vacation but I wanted him to follow-up with something for me. His reply was “I knew that! >:~)”
Looks like an angry face to me. Unless he’s bald with just a tuft of hair on his forehead, in which case it could be a self-portrait.
