Does anyone know of the recourse for a recently former boss that has not paid last paycheck or vacation pay.?
I left my job of 15 years almost 4 weeks ago. My former employer shorted my pay over $700.00. Also, has changed his vacation quota to 2 weeks max. I have taken 4 weeks paid for the last 4 years. I totally ran his office, and he is trying to stop my unemployment and also to do anything he can to upset me. The employees that I oversaw have also called with questions, and I feel that if he doesn’t pay, I should not have to answer the questions. Help!!! I have little or no money and am not even sure that I have qualified for UC. Also am looking for a REAL at home computer job, one that pays me, not one I pay. Any ideas? This if my first time posting on this or any other site, not sure if this is what the site had in mind.
I sympathize with your plight. However, you should take the matter to your Manpower Ministry. If in the event, they do not handle management staff’s cases, you should engage a lawyer. Perhaps you could enlist the help of a lawyer friend if money is a problem.
Job-wise, you should enroll with an employment agency. Meanwhile, approach your relatives/friends for any contacts they may have. All the very best!
