Which Format for “Save As”?
I just returned from a vacation of a lifetime with my family. I pulled the pictures off my camera and started playing with them on letter sized paper in Word. I want to have 16 X 20 posters made – I’ll send the order online to Sam’s or Walgreens.
I know how to get the pages to MS Paint, but what is the best format to save them? My first inclination is JPEG, but would TIFF give me a better result?

Save as a new file name in high quality JPEG’s … Most labs cannot print from TIFF files, but if yours does, send them a TIFF file
Make sure that your images are saving in the sRGB colour space. That is the space which colour labs are calibrated to use.
Since you will have the original file, if the lab needs a different file type, they will tell you.
