Any good vacation location ideas?
Hi. My husband, me, and only daughter of 9 have decided over the winter break we were going to take a pretty big vacation. I’m talking it can be out of the country, around the world, etc. We want to get out to Europe because my husband (who’s paying for this) counstently is traveling America and has seen a lot of this country. Do you have any relaxing ideas for our family of three?
We were thinking of going to Milan, Italy. Is that good?
Yes, money is unlimited.
Milan is a lovely city to vacation. Keep in mind, winter break is “high season” for most travel destinations including Italy.
More importantly the USD exchange rate against the EURO is appalling. Seriously, the cost of everything adds up so fast that it can ruin your vacation.
If money is no object then definitely visit Milan, Florence and Venice. Also visit the picturesque small towns of “Cinque Terre” located along the ocean.
If you want to stretch your dollar, Hawaii or the Caribbean are gorgeous locales with tons of fun activities.
