How much should i offer to pay for a vacation to the Bahamas with my bf?
My bf already booked a flight to the Bahamas from LA as well as the room. He travels a lot for business so he’s already accumulated a lot of miles and free hotel stays. He makes close to 40k more than i do…and i am more than 10 years younger than him. i dont know if i should offer him couple hundred dollars to help pay for some things or if i should just pay for some stuff as we go along. How much should i spend by the end of the trip? The trip is to last six days~ (we are pretty serious about this relationship…future is definitely a possibility)
Talk to him, ask him well before the holiday. If you go expecting to only buy small amounts and he expects you to pay more it could end in tears. Offering to pay 50-50 is good advice, then he should tell you exactly what you’re expected to pay.
