summer vacation list
what should I do over summer vacation?
summer vacation has just started an hour ago. list some things that i should do for fun. (and not stupid stuff like community service or recycling)
I know someone whose mother made him start volunteering one summer. He was 14 at the time. She told him to pick somewhere or she’d pick somewhere for him. But anyway, he chose to help out at the local kid’s science museum. He ended up working there and getting paid a couple of years later, and he still does when he’s home on breaks from college. He is very interested in science, and is going to be an engineer of some sort when he’s done.
So my advice is to find something you actually might enjoy that might help someone else and do it. Even if you don’t make any money at it now, it really might help you later.
(I know, old fart answer. But I’ve really enjoyed the times in my life when I was doing things I enjoyed that helped someone else. sure beats sitting around bored for a couple of months)
