Whats the drinking age in New York City? and does it apply if you are married to someone over 21?
We are both in the military, coming home for vacation to NYC, Im 23 , wife is 20. In contrast to drinking laws in germany ( where we are stationed and its legal at 16) is she able to go out and drink if im around despite being 20?
I’d prefer if you actually live in NY or have lived there before.
Well aware that the general legal age is 21 throughout the good ol US of A, but i also know that certain states give minors leeway if in company of a spouse or guardian ( from the top of my head TX and FL com to mind) does NY fall into this category.
Also well aware of the reprecussions, ( considerably worse if youre in the AF) hence why I’d ask all you fine people 
It is the same everywhere.
She can’t drink no matter – married or not.
So, basically, your 20 year old wife will have to wait a year before she can drink.
No cheating.
