How to stay entertained on a veryyyy long car ride?
We’re going on vacation in 2 weeks and the car ride is a total of about 24 hours, which means, including stops along the way, that my family and I will be in a car for a total of about 2 days. I have an iPod and DVD player for the car, but you can only watch movies and listen to music for so long. I’m gonna try and sleep a lot of the time, but does anyone have any creative ideas on how to stay entertained? Thanks
My sister is also going on the trip, and we’re both teens.
Before you go on your trip, pick up some of your favorite books.
Personally, I love the Clique series! I just get so into the story and I can never put it down.
That would help pass the time…
If you haven’t read those, I strongly recommend them!
Make sure your iPod is FULLY charged for the trip. I think they also have the chargers you can plug into the cigarette lighter in the car, so if you have or can get one of those, that might be useful for when it dies and you’re in desperate need for some tunes.
Playing games with the Fam is also fun, I know.. sounds lame.
Games with family?
But it helps pass the time when you’re into a really good game like I Spy, What Would Your Rather, or just chatting about funny stories.
A good laugh could definitely lighten the mood!
Get some quiz/trivia books too. It’s fun to ask your family questions and talk about their answers.
Watch some of your favorite movies.
Try writing a story.
Draw some pictures.
TAKE PICTURES.
Text/Call friends if you have a cell phone.
& LASTLY, SLEEEEP.
Sleeping is the best time-passer.
