What is it about your first love that (s)he will always have you by the heartstrings?
I have been dating my boyfriend for a year and 2 months. It’s been mostly great, but I can’t help talking to my first ex boyfriend. He and I were very happy together, but the levels of commitment were too different to stay together. Now, I am with a great guy, I thought I was so happy until my ex instant messaged me. I keep thinking about him. (Note: my boyfriend currently lives about 90 miles away and is on vacation with his friends w/out me.) How is it that someone I haven’t been with in over 2 years is still so important and powerful?
because you loved them!!! as simple as that.. its the truth.. theres nothing in particular about my bf that will always have me by the heartstrings as you say… but everything weve been through.. and everything weve come to be.. once you love somebody theyll always be a part of you
