Where is a good place for family vacations on the East Coast of the USA?
I would look into going to Boston if you want a city atmosphere. However, Virginia and South carolina are both great places to go with cheap hotels and nice American style atomospheres. I REALLY like washington DC, and within 2 hours you can be in gettysburg PA which is a very traditional town with nice hotels and good history with a large battlefield park.
