christmas vacation germany

Vacation in Europe during Christmas break?
For Christmas vacation, our family wants to go to Europe. It would be two older parents and two teenage daughters. We were thinking England, France, and Germany but I don’t know specifics(except for Paris!) of where and when to visit them. We would probably leave the 23rd and leave Europe the 1st or 2nd.
Which specific cities should we be for Christmas? For New Years Eve?
Also, any warm places to visit for a couple of days, such as by the Mediterranean?
Thanks in advance for any advice!!
okay…well in December it is freezing here!…England great for shopping but can get boring. I say go to Austia and spend christmas there snowboarding and skiing in a small town called piesendorf zell am see which is a few hours from vienna. Prague in the czech republic is somewhere your daughters would want to go as the evenings have lots to do and it is very comfortable for the parents…O yes and shopping is amazing round there… My other ideas would be Amsterdam for new years, I was there this past new years and it is great and very beautiful. Avoid Paris as it is over priced, yes it is beautiful but expensive and honestly waste of money and your daughters won’t have much to do. germany is okay but you must go to munich then….there is lots to do in the central parts and many sales….and lastly switzerland ( lucerne) is a must if you can
