Bahamas…Atlantis?
I am going on a weeks vacation to Nassau, Bahamas. (Atlantis Resort)
I am wondering if I can bring my own snorkling equipment, or if there is a place to rent those kinds of things and how much it costs to rent.
Also, what is some dress code for some restaurnats in Atlantis…preferably if you know the nicest I should look and the most casual.
Next, do you know any other fun activities to do around there, such as dolphin cay or parasailing….if you know the costs of anything.

I have been to their website and read the FAQ’s and they have no information about rental equipment. Generally speaking, these things are available in the Bahamas, but probably not at the resort. At the very minimum, I would bring my own mouthpiece, regulator, fins and mask. You can probably find the tanks on the island for a reasonable rate.
If you’re only snorkeling and don’t need tanks, just bring your own stuff. Put it in your checked luggage, not your carry on so you don’t arouse airport security. Do not pack a scabbard or diving knife, spear gun or any other type of potential weapon.
The dress code for most island resorts is very relaxed and most dress is casual. Common sense prevails, for example don’t wear a thong or brief to dinner. Shorts and a light shirt should be fine.
On the other activities, I encourage you to simply call the resort. I’m sure they can accurately answer these questions. Answers you may get here could be dated and inaccurate as things change from one year to the next.
